Miniature Chinese Garden at Corporation Walk, Singapore
I always create my mini garden with a shallow pot, but this is on the ground....The river runs the length of this landscape. Along side of the river, I placed a wooden stair, a pagoda, a boy on a bull, happy old folk playing chess and a clay house, each eliciting a unique ambience's of peace. I called it Garden Of Peace. You will see happiness in life here.
I used some moss to spread on the ground to give a greenery screen. The river was made of cement with some granites on the side. Notice some blue fine sand were used to symbol water flowing. (No real water) Plants with miniature leaves were used. Placement of the figurines is the key to a well -ratio scenery. Before you start to plant and design, you need to have a concept and it is advisable to draw a sketch. Please enjoy.

Go Bananas.....
I cut some roots from a real big banana Tree and planted them in a large shallow pot. You need to trim the banana leaves regularly, so as to maintain miniature leaves. Water is vital. During a peaceful and quiet evening, these two old men are enjoying a chest game. A piglet is found eating some snacks....
This is a close up of the game.... SShhhh... please do not distrub them.
I display this art along corporation walk..
The Winter feeling....
(Left) This is a dead bonsai, I painted it white . Notice I also gave the pot a new look ! You can display any where. And most importantly, save water....Below
This is also a dead large bonsai. A few "birds" can be seen resting on the Bonsai.. As for the surrounding, I planted some portulaca. Below the the tree I placed some white sand.

My very own garden..built by me, just using a small entrenching tool...
I construct a small pond inside my house. The pond is not deep at all, thus not posing any danger to children who are playing around the area. I keep small patties and rare guppies. I breed most of the fish. Surrounding the pond, I plant hardy species, so that maintenance is easy for me. A little water filter is hidden. White pebbles make the landscape neat and tidy. I can sit there for hours listening to the running water sound. Please comment.Roadside Landscape at Corporation Walk (Partial View)
Land Area : 12 ft x 5 ft
.
I design in such a way that it is almost maintenance free for this owner. Portulaca plants are used to decorate at the front right side of this patch. During the day time, multi colorfully flowers make your day! The owner uses a clay mushroom to brighten the area...Mini pebbles are used as decoration and also used as a stepping area to feed fertilizer. Plants lovers will always stop by to enjoy this refreshing view.

Another project at Corporation Walk
This patch of land was a mess of wild grass, before converting to this landscape. Note I use some clay dolls to decorate the area. Med size stones are also used to form little path. Paths should be created for maintenance purpose. The owner can step on them to pick up dried leaves and weeds., thus not damaging any plants....
